Russian missile and drone attacks cut power to over 1M

More than 1 million subscribers were left without electricity as a result of Russia’s overnight missile and UAV strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

Axar.az reports that Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said this on his Telegram channel.

According to the minister, the attacks covered the Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Chernihiv regions. At least five people were injured as a result of the incident.

Klymenko stated that the most difficult situation in terms of electricity supply is in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

It should be noted that earlier, President Zelensky announced that Russia had carried out one of its largest attacks overnight, targeting energy infrastructure.
