Russia rules out any Western troop deployment in Ukraine

Moscow will under no circumstances agree to the deployment of Western troops in Ukraine in any form, including within NATO, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said in an interview with ABC News.

Axar.az informs “We are open to discussing possible solutions. However, under no circumstances are we ready to support, approve, or even tolerate any NATO troop presence on Ukrainian territory,” the senior diplomat said.

When asked whether Russia would accept the deployment of European forces in Ukraine outside of NATO, Ryabkov replied, “No, no, and no again.”
