One killed, dozens injured as Russia targets Kyiv

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with drones and ballistic missiles, causing injuries and destruction in Kyiv and surrounding areas.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian media wrote about the incident.

It was reported that as a result of the attack on Kyiv, 22 people were injured, including two children.

Destruction was recorded in several districts of the city, with fires breaking out in residential buildings and civilian facilities.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, following the attack, heat supply was cut off to approximately one-third of the capital, while electricity supply was suspended in some areas on the left bank.

In the Kyiv region, one woman was killed as a result of the attack, and several people in serious condition were hospitalized. Rescue operations are ongoing.

The number of people injured in Russia’s attack on Kyiv continues to rise.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the number of injured has reached 28, with 13 of the wounded hospitalized.
