Qarabag have made a decision regarding Mateus Silva, who has been linked with Brazilian club Vitória.

Axar.az reports that the “Horsemen” intend to keep the 28-year-old defender until the end of the season. Head coach Gurban Gurbanov is opposed to selling Silva, who is capable of playing both as a full-back and a central defender.

There are currently no concrete offers for the Brazilian defender. Although Vitória have shown verbal interest, they have not made official contact with Qarabag.

Mateus joined Qarabag in September 2023 from Bulgaria’s Lokomotiv. He has scored one goal in 23 matches this season.
