Russia and Ukraine agree on a ceasefire

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to implement a local ceasefire to repair the backup power line at the Zaporizhzhia​ Nuclear Power Plant.

Axar.az reports that Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), announced this.

"Today, the IAEA reached an agreement between Russia and Ukraine on the implementation of a local ceasefire. This will allow repair work to begin on the last remaining backup power line at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine," the statement said.
