Syria presents 12-point plan to SDF

The Syrian government has presented a 12-point plan to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Axar.az reports, citing Al-Majalla.

The points of the plan are as follows:

- SDF members join the Syrian army individually, not as brigades;

- SDF hands over border crossings with Iraq;

- SDF hands over border crossings with Turkiye;

- SDF withdraws from Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa provinces, where Arabs are the majority;

- Control of all oil and gas facilities is transferred to the Syrian government.

- Control of dams and water infrastructure is transferred to the Syrian government.

- Joint administration is established in Hasakeh province.

- Mazlum Abdi is appointed governor of Hasakeh.

- SDF is granted government positions (e.g., deputy ministers of defense or interior).

- SDF is allowed to participate in the Syrian parliament.

- Recognition of Kurdish rights is confirmed by the latest decree of President Ahmad al-Sharaa.

- All provisions are implemented according to a set timeline.

It should be noted that the Syrian army continues operations against the SDF, which it considers a terrorist organization.
