Zelensky open to elections, confident of victory

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is open to the idea of holding presidential elections and is confident of winning.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters sources, that despite a decline in support since the start of the war, Zelensky’s approval rating remains above 50%, making him confident of victory.

According to five officials, during talks held in Abu Dhabi, Ukrainian and U.S. delegations discussed the possibility of holding presidential elections and a referendum on a peace agreement simultaneously. Two sources уточified that the U.S. side proposed holding these events in May.
