Armenia seeks to develop friendly relations with Russia

Armenia is seeking to develop friendly relations with Russia.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan made the statement while presenting the Foreign Ministry’s 2025 activity report to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The Armenian minister emphasized that Armenia aims to develop friendly relations with Russia based on mutual respect and respect for sovereignty.

Mirzoyan added that the key priorities of the ministry he leads include serving the peace agenda and carrying out active efforts aimed at establishing, strengthening, and systematizing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. These efforts include the negotiation process, coordination, drafting the text of a peace agreement, as well as steps and initiatives aimed at building confidence.
