Several countries have consulates in Greenland

Several countries are considering opening consulates in Greenland.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Danish Foreign Minister Lars Rasmussen during his visit to the island.

"This means a lot for Greenland. I know several colleagues who are also considering such an option. People want to build stronger ties with the entire Danish Commonwealth (Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands) and the Arctic territory of the Kingdom of Denmark.

This is especially important given the current situation and the issues that have not yet been fully resolved," Rasmussen noted.
