Turkish president appoints new justice, interior ministers

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appointed new justice and interior ministers under presidential decrees published Tuesday in the Official Gazette.

Axar.az reports, Anadolu Agency, Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akin Gurlek was named justice minister, replacing Yilmaz Tunc, while Erzurum Governor Mustafa Ciftci was appointed interior minister, filling the post vacated by Ali Yerlikaya.

No further statement was made on the matter.
