Trump predicts tough consequences if Iran talks fail

US President Donald Trump has announced that he plans to sign a deal with Iran in March.

Axar.az informs that the head of the American administration announced this to journalists at the White House.

"Probably within the next month," he answered the relevant question.

At the same time, Trump predicted that a difficult phase awaits Iran if the negotiations break down.

"I will talk to the Iranians as much as I need. If we cannot reach an agreement with them, we will move on to the second phase. The second phase will be very difficult for them. I do not want that," the US President said.

Recall that the negotiations between Iran and the US were held on February 6 in Oman. Trump called them successful and stressed that the dialogue would continue. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also positively assessed the negotiations.
