WSJ: Iran is ready to suspend uranium enrichment

Iran has proposed suspending uranium enrichment for up to three years, transferring part of its highly enriched uranium stockpile overseas, and pursuing business agreements with the United States as part of efforts to advance nuclear negotiations, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.

Axar.az informs according to the newspaper, Iran has expressed willingness to transfer part of its uranium stockpile to a third party, such as Russia, and has discussed possible cooperation in oil, gas, mining, and aviation should sanctions be removed.

A meeting between Iranian and U.S. delegations was held in Geneva yesterday.

Iranian representatives also held discussions with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi.
