China has advised its citizens to avoid travelling to Iran and urged those in the country to evacuate as soon as possible, amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran.
Axar.az informs, citing Xinhua, in light of the current security situation in Iran, Chinese authorities called on citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran. Chinese nationals currently in the country are advised to strengthen safety precautions and leave as soon as possible.
Chinese embassies and consulates in Iran and neighboring countries said they will provide necessary assistance to nationals seeking to leave via commercial flights or overland routes.
