Lt. Gen. Nasirzadeh death confirmed in US-Israel strike

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC, has confirmed that Iran’s Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Aziz Nasirzadeh, was killed in a U.S. and Israeli airstrike.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim, the announcement emphasized that his death represents a significant loss for Iran’s armed forces and its people.

It further noted that the event is expected to strengthen national unity, accelerate major defense programs, and reinforce the country’s strategic determination to protect its national interests.

Israeli media had previously reported on the death of Aziz Nasirzadeh.
