Hezbollah's Qassem outlines conditions to end conflict

Hezbollah’s leader Naim Qassem has called for the cancellation of ongoing negotiations, describing them as “submission and surrender,” and urged what he termed a “heroic stance” instead.

Axar.az reports, citing Hezbollah's Telegram channel, Qassem said that ending the conflict requires full implementation of an agreement, including a complete halt to hostilities.

He said this would involve an immediate withdrawal from all Lebanese territories, the release of detainees, and the return of residents to their villages and towns up to the last house along Lebanon’s border areas.

Qassem added that such measures are the only path to achieving sovereignty and ensuring compliance with existing agreements.

He also stated that countries should follow this approach and rely on “strength factors” in confronting Israel and enforcing agreements.
