Lavrov and Araghchi held a phone call

On April 13, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.

Axar.az reports according to Russian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Araghchi informed Lavrov about the details of the Iran–U.S. talks held in Islamabad on April 11.

The Russian side “welcomed the continued commitment to diplomatic efforts and the search for solutions that would eliminate the root causes of the conflict and achieve long-term stabilization in the region, taking into account the legitimate interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its neighbors.”
