Turkiye proposes Armenia join regional trilateral format

The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye (TBMM), Numan Kurtulmush, has proposed including Armenia in the Turkiye–Georgia–Azerbaijan trilateral cooperation format.

Axar.az reports that Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan made the statements in a post on his X account following his meeting with Kurtulmush.

"I welcomed my colleague’s recent proposal, voiced during his meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, to include Armenia in the Turkiye–Georgia–Azerbaijan format, as a step toward promoting peace, stability & prosperity in our region. We also discussed further details related to advancing this initiative," he wrote.
