Lukashenko signals Belarus readiness for major US deal

Belarus has expressed readiness to pursue a major agreement with the United States, according to President Alexander Lukashenko.

Axar.az reports that Lukashenko made the remarks in an interview with RT.

“However, preparation must be made to ensure that the interests of both the United States and Belarus are taken into account. Once this is prepared, I am ready to meet Donald and sign this agreement. Political prisoners and sanctions are minor issues in the context of a possible deal. There are other matters that Minsk and Washington need to resolve,” Lukashenko said.
