Vance expected to depart Tuesday for talks in Pakistan

U.S. Vice President JD Vance is expected to depart Washington on Tuesday to travel to Pakistan for the latest round of talks with Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing CNN, a second round of negotiations between the U.S. and Iranian delegations is currently planned for Wednesday in Islamabad, though the situation remains fluid amid continued heated rhetoric from both sides.

The White House said there is no confirmed timing yet, noting that the delegation is expected to travel soon, but it is unclear exactly when.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said in a phone interview that the delegation was “heading over now” and would “be there tonight."
