German Foreign Ministry summons Russian Ambassador

Russia’s ambassador to Berlin, Sergey Nechayev, has been summoned to the German Foreign Ministry.

Axar.az reports that the Federal Foreign Office of Germany stated that the move comes in response to Russia’s direct threats against targets in Germany.

“Russia’s direct threats against targets in Germany are an attempt to weaken our support for Ukraine and test our unity. Our response is clear: we will not be intimidated. Such threats and all forms of espionage activities in Germany are completely unacceptable. The Russian ambassador was therefore summoned today,” the ministry wrote on X.
