The Israeli ambassador to Ukraine summoned to MFA

The Israeli ambassador has been summoned to the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where a formal protest note will be presented.

Axar.az reports, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced the decision on his official X account.

Sybiha said that Ukraine would “officially summon the Israeli ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine tomorrow morning to present our protest note and request appropriate action.”

He stated that the move is linked to the arrival of a vessel carrying “stolen Ukrainian grain” to the port of Haifa, following a similar earlier case.

“It is difficult to understand Israel’s lack of appropriate response to Ukraine’s legitimate request regarding the previous vessel that delivered stolen goods to Haifa,” he wrote.

Sybiha added that Ukraine had already raised concerns about a previous shipment but had not received an adequate response, and warned Israel against accepting cargo he described as stolen grain, saying it could harm bilateral relations.
