Russia urges foreign diplomats to leave Kyiv ahead of May 9

Moscow is calling on foreign countries to ensure the timely evacuation of their diplomats from Kyiv in case of attempts by Ukraine to disrupt the May 9 Victory Day celebrations in Moscow.

Axar.az informs that this is stated in a comment by the official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

“The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly urges the authorities of your country/the leadership of your organization to approach this statement with the utmost responsibility and to ensure the timely evacuation from the city of Kyiv of personnel of diplomatic and other missions, as well as citizens, due to the inevitability of a retaliatory strike by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation against Kyiv, including decision-making centers, in the event that the Kyiv regime implements its criminal terrorist plans during the days of the Great Victory celebrations,” Zakharova emphasized.
