Ozel and his supporters removed from CHP headquarters -

The lawyer of newly reinstated CHP chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu, Celal Celik, has appealed to the Ankara Police Department, claiming that the party headquarters had not been vacated despite a court ruling.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the request called for the evacuation of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) headquarters.

According to the reports, the former CHP leadership has now left the party’s central headquarters.

Former CHP chairman Ozgur Ozel had initially stated that he would not leave the building, but later departed together with his team.

It should be noted that the results of the CHP’s 38th congress, held on November 4–5, 2023, were annulled, and Kemal Kilicdaroglu was reinstated as party leader.
