Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russia may launch a new large-scale missile attack on Ukraine within the next 48 hours.
Axar.az reports that in a post on Telegram, Zelensky said Ukrainian intelligence and the country's international partners had information indicating that Russia had prepared missiles for a new wave of strikes.
"We know from our intelligence services and our partners that the Russians have prepared missiles for a new massive strike on Ukraine. This attack could happen today. Preliminary information indicates that it may take place within the next 48 hours," Zelensky said.
He urged Ukrainians to remain vigilant and follow air raid alerts.
"Please take care of yourselves and pay attention to air raid alerts," he said.
Zelensky also called on Ukraine's Western partners to speed up the delivery of air defense systems.
"Air defense remains the top priority where our partners can help us. All agreements must be fulfilled — and fulfilled without delay," he said.
The Ukrainian president added that more countries need to understand the reality of Russia's attacks and the importance of continued support for Ukraine.
