Erdogan: Entire region paying price for Israel's actions

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered key messages on regional and global developments following the weekly Cabinet meeting.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that Erdogan accused Israel of gradually occupying Palestinian territories while disregarding fundamental human rights and violating international law.

"Israel is gradually occupying Palestinian territories, disregarding fundamental human rights and trampling international law," Erdogan said.

The Turkish president stressed that not only Palestinians and Lebanese, but also the entire region and its diverse faith communities, were paying the price for the ongoing conflict.

Erdogan also said Turkiye was taking "determined steps to make Turkiye a regional hub for production, logistics, transit trade and technology."

"Despite conflicts in our region, Turkiye's economy remains strong. We are making special efforts to minimize the impact of war-related costs," he added.
