Pakistan's Prime Minister to pay state visit to Astana

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will pay a state visit to Astana.

Axar.az informs, citing Repоrt, that this was stated in a congratulatory letter sent by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of Pakistan's Independence Day.

Tokayev noted Pakistan's important achievements on the path of sustainable development and expressed commitment to further strengthening cooperation on a wide range of issues on the bilateral and international agenda.

The Kazakh president also emphasized that he looks forward to Shehbaz Sharif's upcoming state visit to Astana, adding that the visit will give new impetus to cooperation between the two countries.

Tokayev wished Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif success in their activities, and the people of Pakistan prosperity and progress.
