Saudi-led coalition destroyed Houthi ballistic missile

The Saudi-led coalition said on Monday that it had “intercepted and destroyed” a ballistic missile fired by Iran-backed Houthi militia towards southern Saudi Arabia.

Axar.az reports, citing Al Arabiya, that coalition spokesperson Major General Turki al-Malki said on X that the coalition had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia toward Khamis Mushait.

Al-Malki had said earlier that the coalition also intercepted and destroyed a drone in the Eastern Province.

Separately, the Saudi Civil Defense said on Monday the potential danger had passed in Abha after emergency alerts were issued.
