People's artist of Georgia, famous actor and singer Vakhtang Kikabidze was buried.

Axar.az reports that the deceased was buried next to the graves of his family members in the Veriy cemetery in the capital Tbilisi.

It should be noted that Vakhtang Kikabidze was born on July 19, 1938, in Tbilisi. In 1961, he entered the Tbilisi Institute of Foreign Languages and continued his acting and singing career in parallel.

In 1959, he got a job at the Tbilisi Philharmonic and went on tour as a soloist. Together with his friends, he first created the group "Velo" and then "Orero" and gave concerts with songs in Georgian, Russian, Italian and English languages. His first film debut began in 1966 with the film "Meeting in the Mountains".
