In Russia, law-abiding Azerbaijanis are respected, and Moscow considers it very important that Russians are respected in Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

“It is very important for us that Russians are respected in Azerbaijan. A very large Azerbaijani diaspora lives in Russia, and almost all representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora are our law-abiding citizens who deserve respect here. Citizens who violate the law are held accountable by law,” he said.
