Anglo Asian Mining Plc. (AAM), a British company engaged in gold, silver, and copper mining in Azerbaijan has started the first ore production at the Demirli copper-molybdenum deposit located in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the company has published information about this.

"Anglo Asian Mining plc provides information about the start of commissioning and first production of the Demirli copper-molybdenum deposit. Commissioning of the deposit continues, and production is expected to increase by the end of the year," the information said.

The company predicts that approximately 4 thousand tons of copper concentrate will be produced at the Demirli deposit in 2025.

"From 2026, production is expected to increase to approximately 15 thousand tons of copper per year. The exploitation period of the deposit will be determined after further development of the geological model and mineral resources model," the information said.
