The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, was outraged by the presentation of the Norwegian Conservative Party award to the imprisoned third president, Mikheil Saakashvili.

Axar.az reports that the Georgian press reported on this.

"This is mocking and insulting our people. Presenting the award to Saakashvili is equivalent to awarding Breivik, who was tried for the murder of many people in Norway, by some country," he said.

It should be noted that last week Saakashvili was awarded the prize for promoting human rights, political and economic freedoms and democratic institutions by Sør Lindebrekken, co-founder of the Norwegian Conservative Party in Oslo.
