If opposition parties come to power in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Slovakia, support for Ukraine may weaken.
Axar.az reports that the President of Slovakia, Zuzana Caputova, said this.
"If populist parties lead the government this fall, Bratislava's foreign policy will be similar to that of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Slovakia can follow Hungary and become a difficult "child" of the European Union," he said.
Chaputova emphasized that Slovakia is a strong ally of Ukraine. However, according to him, the new government may change its mind on this issue, because Russia's influence is spreading throughout Europe.
