About 500 people have been detained in Yerevan for two days during protests demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Ishkhan Sagatelyan, a member of the parliament of Armenia from the faction of the same name.

"Yesterday and today, about 500 people were taken to police stations. The police are using force, fictitious criminal cases are being opened," said Sagatelyan.
