Any change in the geography of the region leads to insecurity and instability and exacerbates the crisis.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, General Ali Akbar Ahmadian, in a meeting with his Armenian counterpart, Armen Grigoryan.

At the meeting, General Ahmadian drew attention to the recent events in the Caucasus region and stressed the importance of each party's efforts to establish peace and security in the region.

It is not known whether Ahmadiani had a discussion with Grigoryan about the recently concluded Armenian-US military exercises and the reason for the release of US servicemen to Armenia. However, Iran claimed that it was taking a strong position against the intervention of non-regional countries in the region.

It should be noted that A. Grigoryan is visiting Tehran.
