The pre-trial panel of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued a warrant for the arrest of the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, and the Chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov.

Axar.az informs that this was reported on the court's website.

"On June 24, the preliminary investigation commission of the II International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for two persons suspected of committing international crimes in the context of the situation in Ukraine - Sergey Kujugetovich Shoigu and Valery Vasilievich Gerasimov," the information stated.
