Several Western allies of Ukraine are failing to fulfill their commitments to accelerate the supply of air defense systems and other military equipment.

Axar.az reports that according to Bloomberg, a number of NATO countries pledged during the alliance's summit in Washington in July to send at least five additional long-range air defense systems.

'At that time, the U.S., Germany, and Romania each promised to send one Patriot system, and the fourth system was to be assembled from parts donated by several countries. Italy also pledged to send the SAMP-T system. Other allies committed to sending different systems and ammunition to Ukraine.

Despite Russian advances on the front, support among Ukraine's allies remains uneven.'

It was also highlighted that some allies have lagged in providing military equipment to Ukraine's reserve forces, negatively impacting the country's defense.
