Ukraine is waiting for permission from its Western partners – the US and the UK – to use transferred long-range weapons to strike legitimate targets on Russian territory.

Axar.az reports that this information was published by "Telegraph."

It is noted that highly interesting targets could come under missile attack, especially the airbase outside the city of Lipetsk, where Russian pilots are trained.

The publication states that giving Kyiv the green light for long-range missile strikes will undoubtedly affect the course of the war. The Institute for the Study of War has identified at least 225 potential targets that Ukraine could strike immediately. These targets include military airfields, training bases, logistics centers, and manufacturing facilities that play a crucial role in supporting Russia’s military machine.

It should be noted that earlier, "The Guardian" reported that the UK had already decided to allow Ukraine to use "Storm Shadow" cruise missiles against targets in Russia.
