Arsen Kharatyan, the founder of "Alik Media," was detained at Tbilisi Airport on the morning of September 17 by representatives of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Axar.az reports that Georgian media have published information about this incident.

"Kharatyan has been under detention for 5 hours, and no one is explaining anything to him. He is even prohibited from using his phone," the report states.

It is noted that two weeks ago, Kharatyan was informed by the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' border police that he was banned from entering the country. However, permission was granted two hours later. At the same time, the border police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs only presented him with a decision stating "other cases provided for in Georgian legislation," without explaining what the matter was about.

Kharatyan himself stated that he does not know the reason for the ban on his entry to Georgia and that such an incident has never happened to him before.
