On September 10, Russian troops launched a counteroffensive in the Kursk region. The situation in the area remains unstable.
Axar.az reports that the information was shared by the U.S. Institute for the Study of War.
According to the report, the scale and potential prospects of the Russian army's attacks are still unclear, and it's too early to draw definitive conclusions:
"Geolocation images from September 11 show that Russian forces regained positions from Ukrainian forces east of Juravli (northeast of Korenevo). More than 10 videos confirm that the 51st Airborne Regiment is advancing north and northeast of Snaqost."
According to claims by Russian military bloggers, Russian troops launched a counteroffensive from the north near Korenevo and advanced rapidly toward Snaqost. Some sources state that the Russians have completely captured Snaqost. Additionally, it is noted that units of the 51st Airborne Regiment and the 155th Marine Brigade have advanced in the Snaqost area, capturing Krasnojovtnevo, Komarovka, Vishnevka, Apanasovka, 10 Oktyabr, Obukhovka, Byakhovo, Vnezapnoe, and Gordeyevka.
