Regional stability-threatening policies need to be reconsidered. Turkiye, as the Motherland and guarantor state, will continue to ensure the safety and prosperity of Turkish Cypriots under any circumstances.

Axar.az reports that this was noted by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to the signing of the "Bilateral Defense Cooperation - Roadmap" agreement between the US and Cyprus.

Ankara has declared that these steps undermine the security of the northern part of the island.

The statement emphasized that this agreement disrupts the US's neutral stance on Cyprus and makes it more difficult to achieve a fair, sustainable, and stable resolution to the Cyprus issue.
