A phone call took place between Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Luxembourg's Foreign and Foreign Trade Minister Xavier Bettel.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It was noted that during the phone call, issues of cooperation between the two countries, as well as regional and international security situations, were discussed.

The parties highlighted the significant role of such contacts in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Luxembourg and in discussing mutual interests.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also provided detailed information about the current situation and realities in the region post-conflict, the progress of the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the current state of affairs.

It was emphasized that ongoing territorial claims against our country in Armenian legislation and the rapid militarization of this country are key factors threatening the sustainable peace-building process in the region.

During the phone call, there was also an exchange of views on other mutually interesting bilateral and multilateral issues.
