The disruption of the balance of power in the Korean Peninsula and the region would immediately lead to war, and therefore, strengthening Pyongyang's nuclear capabilities is the only correct choice.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

She also issued a threat to the United States, South Korea, and Japan, which have been conducting military drills in the region:

“The significant increase in such dangerous military exercises has created a serious threat not only to our state but also to the peace and security of the entire region.”
