The elections held in Moldova were the most undemocratic campaign in history.

Axar.az reports that Maria Zakharova, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, said this while commenting on the results of the presidential elections held in Moldova.

"Official Chisinau's discrimination against Moldovan voters living in Russia should be specially noted. As in the first round, only two polling stations were opened for the Moldovan diaspora, whose number in our country reaches 500,000 people according to various estimates. For comparison: Europe and Northern Europe, where about 500,000 Moldovans also live More than 200 polling stations were established in America, and Moldovan citizens were allowed to vote by mail in several countries.

Maya Sandu's victory in the elections was ensured by the votes of diasporas in Western countries. "Moldova should take into account the interests of its citizens who support relations with Russia," Zakharova said.

It should be noted that Maya Sandu won the second round of the presidential elections in Moldova on November 3 with 55.33% of votes.
