The main opposition forces of Moldova - the Socialist Party and the "Victory" bloc (Ilon Shor) announced that they do not recognize the November 3 elections.

Axar.az reports that the parties issued a statement on this.

The statement states that there is evidence of massive electoral fraud in favor of Maya Sandu in polling stations abroad.

The Moldovan opposition announced that they will appeal to the Constitutional Court regarding the presidential elections.

"If Sandu retains the post of president, we will protest the decision of the Central Election Commission in the Constitutional Court, because we cannot accept the chaos created by the Western forces that have seized power in the country," said Ilon Shor, the leader of the "Victory" bloc.

It should be noted that the candidate supported by the Socialist Party, the ethnic Gagauz Aleksandr Stoyanoglu, lost to his opponent, the current President Maya Sandu, in the November 3 election due to the votes from outside the country. Thus, Stoyanoglu received 51.19% of the votes in the voting within Moldova, while the diaspora votes from outside the country, especially from Europe, ensured that Maya Sandu won with 55.33% of the votes.

The opposition strongly opposes the result.
