The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, is on an official visit to this country at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Slovakia, Robert Kalinak.

It was reported that Colonel-General Z. Hasanov visited "Slavin - World War II monument" as part of the visit. By placing a wreath in front of the monument, he showed respect to the memory of the fallen.

The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan met with his Slovak counterpart in Bratislava.

At the official welcome ceremony organized before the meeting, the defense ministers passed in front of the honor guard. National anthems of both countries were played accompanied by an exemplary military orchestra.

At the meeting, detailed views were exchanged on the current state of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, and the importance of mutual visits was emphasized.

The parties also discussed the development prospects of military and military-technical cooperation.
