Two Chinese nationals were shot and injured on Tuesday in Karachi, Pakistan's commercial hub, following a series of attacks that prompted Beijing to call for stronger security measures for its citizens.

Axar.az reports that , citing Reuters, Faizan Ali, a senior superintendent of police, confirmed that two Chinese nationals had been shot but did not provide further details.

A spokesperson for Liaquat National Hospital in Karachi stated that the two victims were being treated, with one in serious condition.
