Iran's foreign minister arrived in Pakistan's capital on Tuesday for a two-day official visit aimed at discussing a range of issues, including tensions in the Middle East and efforts to strengthen bilateral relations, officials confirmed.
Axar.az reports that , citing The Associated Press , Abbas Araghchi was welcomed by Pakistani officials shortly after midnight when his plane landed at an airport near Islamabad. During his visit, he is set to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and other senior officials at the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry stated in a press release that the visit also "provides an important opportunity to enhance cooperation and dialogue between Pakistan and Iran across a wide range of areas, including trade, energy, and security."
