Syria has not asked Moscow to revisit military base deals

Damascus has not approached Moscow regarding the review of bilateral agreements related to Russian military bases in Syria.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“As a sovereign state, Syria has the right to enter into and terminate agreements with foreign partners, but Russia has not received such requests,” Lavrov stated.
