The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, called Europe's position on the conflict around Ukraine paradoxical.

Axar.az reports "Europe should be absolutely interested in peace, but instead, it talks about war and how to militarize itself, the Kremlin spokesperson said on the program "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin."

According to Peskov, Europe is looking for 800 billion euros, not to spend on healthcare or infrastructure, but for militarization. He also reminded of the words of the President of Finland about the need to arm Ukraine to the teeth.

This "blatant militarist policy of Europe" is hard to comprehend, Peskov noted.
