The Trump administration is currently working on an agreement to sell F-35s to Turkiye.

Axar.az informs that this is stated in a report published by the Jewish Institute for National Security (JINSA) in America.

The report, which states that the current US administration has a positive attitude towards the provision of fighter jets to Turkiye, calls on President Trump to refuse to provide F-35s to Ankara.

It is noted that before taking such a step, the US should consider Turkiye as a regional power and then understand whether Turkiye is reliable in terms of acquiring these fighters:

"We think this is not credible. The interests of Turkiye and the US have repeatedly conflicted with each other."
